PJ, Ramsey, and I had a great time in Atlanta this weekend. I gave a concert at Fortified Hills Baptist Church on Sunday evening. It was a sweet time of ministry and we felt a great connection with the people. The pastor Dewey Davidson had just come out of the mission field back in February. The church seemed like it was growing and had a great vibe going on. Rick Forbus, who was my dad's best friend and roomate all through college (Mississippi College) lead the worship on Sunday morning. He was just as funny as I had remembered. We stayed an extra day and ended up at Stone Mountain and then the Coca Cola Factory in downtown Atlanta. It was really cool. Ramsey had a blast. Then we had Jamaican food for dinner which put us down for the count. We had a great drive home the next day and were back in action on Wednesday.
Also, if you are reading this please pray for my dad. He is in the hospital right now and is recovering from some stomach problems. I will be ministering at my dad's church, Church of the Highlands this Sunday morning. Much love to all of you.
